Mr. Youssef Saleh is a technology, media, and data protection lawyer with experience in both private practice and in-house advisory roles across the Middle East, the UK, and Europe. He is currently an Associate at Youssry Saleh & Partners, where he works on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management mandates, with a focus on matters involving technology, data governance, and cross-border regulatory obligations. His work includes drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising on licensing and distribution arrangements, and supporting clients in disputes and regulatory communications.

Before returning to private practice, he served as a Data Privacy Analyst at Marex in London. In that role, he supported privacy operations across 12 jurisdictions, implemented firm-wide controls (including DLP and erasure/retention programs), and contributed to the expansion of the firm’s privacy framework within the DIFC. He managed vendor due-diligence workflows, oversaw contractual compliance for over 600 vendors, and authored governance documents such as privacy policies, breach manuals, and data-subject rights procedures. He also delivered internal training and worked closely with Legal, InfoSec, and Procurement teams on third-party risk initiatives.

Mr. Youssef holds an LLM in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Law from Queen Mary University of London and a dual LLB/BA in Anglo-Egyptian Law from the British University in Egypt and London South Bank University. He is admitted to the Egyptian Bar Association and is CIPP/E certified.

He has participated in and coached teams for the Price Media Law Moot Court, contributing to written and oral submissions that advanced to the International Rounds in Oxford and earning several awards at regional rounds. He works in Arabic and English with native proficiency.
